Using tags in the editor

Typing a tag is simple: just type # followed by the tag name anywhere in your entry. For example, #travel or #ideas. Tags can be placed inline with your sentences or grouped at the bottom of a post.

Ember will suggest existing tags as you type, helping you keep your taxonomy consistent.

Importing Day One Tags

If you're migrating from Day One, all of your existing tags are preserved. When you bring your notes into Ember, your entries will retain their original tags automatically, seamlessly converting them into Ember's #tag format.

Browsing your tags

Every tag you create becomes searchable. You can use the global search (⌘K) to instantly pull up every entry associated with a specific tag, making it easy to review all moments connected to that theme.
