Ember isn't a CRM. It never tells you who to talk to. But it does help you see when important relationships might be fading, so you can gently reach out.

Fading Tech

Ember tracks the rhythm of your relationships based on how often you mention people in your journal or log interactions with them.

If someone you've marked as important goes too long without a meaningful moment, their connection begins to visually "fade" in your graph and lists.

The Feed

The Feed is a quiet surface that shows you people you might want to reach out to. It doesn't use AI or suggest messages. It simply shows you your own last words about that person.

Gentle Nudges: Ember uses local, on-device notifications to gently let you know when an important relationship is fading (e.g., "[Name] is slipping out of orbit"). We never use servers or AI—it’s entirely driven by your own logging.

Logging Interactions

You don't need to write a full journal entry to keep a relationship active. You can quickly log an interaction (like a coffee date or a long phone call) using the Command Palette (⌘L) or directly on a person's page.
